Migrating off Universal Analytics without losing a year of historical context is mostly a mapping problem: every UA goal and event needed a GA4-native equivalent before the old data stopped flowing.

We rebuilt the event schema from the ground up, mapped it against BigQuery export requirements from day one, and validated every conversion event against the old UA numbers before cutting over.
